International Scholarships for NYS Participants!
Sandals Corporate University has offered scholarships to the two most outstanding participants (male and female) in the 2005 National Youth Service Clerical Administration Corps Batch # 3. The scholarship awardees, Gregory Counsell from St. Thomas and Nickesha Edwards form Clarendon will attend Hocking College , Ohio in September 2006. The National Youth Service received the unexpected news from Dr. Ben Henry who is Chief Learning Consultant at Sandals and Beaches Resorts, President of Sandals Corporate University and Managing Director of Customer Service Academy of Jamaica. Dr. Henry was the guest speaker at the closing ceremony for the Clerical Administration Corps which was held at the Knox Community College , Cobbla Campus, Manchester on Friday August 19, 2005 . Two hundred and eighty nine (289) participants took part. Scholarships will cover full tuition and housing. The Customer Service Academy of Jamaica will cover airfares.
